Harrison Ince were approached by Portman Healthcare (PHC) in the Spring of 2018 to assist with the concept design, feasibility layouts and planning applications as part of their bidding process for the NHS Orthodontic contracts.

 

By September 2018, PHC were awarded 11 of the 14 contracts they had applied for in the South-East and South-West of the UK.

 

With a reputation for providing clinical excellence in orthodontic dentistry, Portman’s design brief was for a contemporary and state-of-the-art interior. Simultaneously, it was pivotal that the interior scheme provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere to reflect their company vision and values of putting patients and people at the forefront.

 

Harrison Ince worked with the Portman team and various other Consultants, Contractors and Specialist Suppliers to design and produce technical drawing packages for each site. Harrison Ince went on to oversee the management of 8 sites being constructed concurrently to achieve the NHS opening deadline of the 1st April 2019.

 

The Smile Clinic Dorking is the 9th new orthodontic practice to be opened by Portman that offers services to both NHS and private Patients.
