Located along the high street of Finchley in North London, the design was required to be contemporary, whilst still celebrating the traditional features of the existing building.

 

The full height timber panelling throughout the building is given a fresh, tonal green colour scheme, which reflects the traditional feel of the architecture, whilst the furniture is reupholstered to provide vibrancy. Combined with the lighter ceiling finish, the introduction of these elements provides a modern and airy feel to the building.

The form of the existing building enabled the customer area to be broken down into smaller spaces, each with a different feel, allowing the pub to appeal to a wider range of people.
