Designing our own studio was a rare and rewarding opportunity. As our team grew, it became clear that our previous office no longer supported the way we work, so we began searching for a city-centre space where we could evolve, collaborate, and truly feel at home.

With deep roots in Castlefield, staying close to the area felt natural. When we discovered the Eastgate office, its generous proportions and original features—arched windows, exposed steel columns, and timber beams—immediately stood out. The surrounding waterways and greenery provide a dynamic backdrop that reflects both the area’s industrial heritage and its ongoing transformation. The building offered the perfect canvas to express our design language while honouring its character.

We created a studio that is warm, functional, and inspiring. The layout carefully balances open collaboration with focused work zones, supported by integrated storage and clean, clutter-free desks. Every decision was shaped by how we genuinely work day to day.

A neutral palette of crisp white walls is softened with timber details, earthy green tones, and planting to promote wellbeing and creativity. Sustainable choices were central to the design, including reusing our existing moss wall and installing Balsan carpet tiles for acoustic comfort. Bespoke joinery and partitions, designed in-house and crafted with local partners, reinforce our commitment to thoughtful, human-centred design.

Key features include a glazed meeting room that offers privacy without sacrificing natural light, a flexible kitchen and breakout area, and a fully bespoke materials library that keeps our creative tools organised and accessible. Carefully considered lighting, concealed cabling, and light-filtering blinds ensure the space performs as beautifully as it looks.

The result is more than just an office. It’s a reflection of who we are—our values, our people, and our passion for creating spaces that feel as good as they function.
